1. Purpose

This Account and Data Deletion Policy explains how App Doctor (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) handles requests for account deletion and the removal of data associated with the use of App Doctor (“Application”).

This policy applies to users who have created an account, subscribed to services, or stored data through the Application or related online services.


2. Requesting Account Deletion

Users may request the deletion of their account by:

  • Using the account management features within the Application (where available);

To protect user privacy and security, we may require identity verification before processing a deletion request.


3. What Happens When an Account Is Deleted

Upon approval of a deletion request:

  • Access to the account will be revoked.
  • User authentication credentials will be removed or permanently disabled.
  • The user will no longer be able to access the Application using the deleted account.
  • Associated subscriptions may be terminated according to applicable subscription terms.

Account deletion is generally irreversible.


4. Data Deletion

Subject to legal, regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the deleted account.

Data that may be deleted includes:

  • Contact information
  • Account preferences and settings
  • Application activity records
  • Uploaded files and documents
  • User-generated content
  • Stored application data

5. Data Retention

Certain information may be retained after account deletion where necessary to:

Backup retention periods typically do not exceed 90 days, unless a longer period is required for operational or legal reasons.


7. Organization-Owned Accounts

Where the Application is provided to an organization:

  • The organization may control user accounts and associated data.
  • Individual users may be required to submit deletion requests through their organization’s designated administrator.
  • Data deletion requests may be subject to organizational policies and contractual obligations.

The Company may require authorization from the organization before processing certain deletion requests.


8. Data Export Prior to Deletion

Users are encouraged to export or download any information they wish to retain before submitting a deletion request.

Once deletion has been completed, recovery of deleted information may not be possible.


9. Processing Time

We aim to process verified account and data deletion requests within 30 days of receipt.

Where additional time is required due to technical, legal, or operational considerations, users will be informed accordingly.


10. Exceptions

We may decline or delay deletion requests where:

  • Verification cannot be completed;
  • The request conflicts with legal obligations;
  • The information is required for ongoing investigations;
  • The information is required for contractual compliance;
  • Deletion would adversely affect the rights of other users or organizations.
